General Overview
By booking a recording session with The UK Flooring Podcast, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Recording sessions are offered free of charge to all participants, except those who intend to use the podcast for financial gain, such as selling B2B goods within the flooring industry. Participants intending to use the podcast for such purposes must contact us at [email protected] before booking to discuss requirements and associated fees.
Booking and Participation
Your booking for a recording session is confirmed upon selecting a time slot and receiving a booking confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us immediately at [email protected] or call 01325 952548.
Each session provides a platform to share your insights, experiences, and stories relevant to the flooring industry.
Recording and Usage Rights
The recording of your session is free of charge unless you intend to use the podcast for financial gain (e.g., promoting or selling B2B goods within the flooring industry). Fees may apply in such cases; please contact us before booking.
After the session, you can request a copy of your podcast recording for personal use. However, this recording remains the intellectual property of The UK Flooring Podcast.
You are prohibited from downloading, sharing, or circulating the recording without obtaining express written permission from The UK Flooring Podcast.
Podcast Editing and Final Approval
All podcast recordings are subject to review and editing by both The UK Flooring Podcast.
The UK Flooring Podcast reserves the right to remove any content deemed unfit prior to the release of the podcast.
The podcast guest will be provided with an opportunity to review the edited recording and suggest changes or edits prior to the final release only if they have requested a copy.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
The UK Flooring Podcast retains all copyrights and intellectual property rights to the recordings made during the sessions.
Any use of the recordings outside of personal listening must be authorised by The UK Flooring Podcast, including any modifications, edits, or public sharing.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your recording session, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled time by contacting us via email or phone.
Should you cancel or not attend your podcast recording “we” (Cockerill & Co) on behalf of The UK Flooring Podcast have the right to recharge the cost of failed production to you of £200 plus vat. Only in exceptional circumstances will this fee be waived.
The UK Flooring Podcast reserves the right to reschedule or cancel recording sessions in case of unforeseen circumstances. In such events, participants will be notified as soon as possible.
Limitation of Liability
The UK Flooring Podcast and its organisers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the recording, distribution, or broadcast of the podcast.
Participation in the recording session is voluntary, and you assume all risks associated with the recording and subsequent use of the content.
Privacy and Data Protection
Any personal data collected during the booking process or recording session will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
