Terms & Conditions Of Podcast Booking

General Overview

By booking a recording session with The UK Flooring Podcast during The Flooring Show 2025 at Harrogate Convention Centre, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
The recording sessions are offered for free to all attendees and exhibitors at The Flooring Show 2025.

Booking and Participation

Your booking for a recording session is confirmed upon selecting a time slot and receiving a booking confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us immediately at [email protected] or call 01325 952548.
Each session provides a platform to share your insights, experiences, and stories relevant to the flooring industry.

Recording and Usage Rights

The recording of your session at The Flooring Show 2025 is free of charge.
After the event, you will receive a copy of your podcast recording for personal use. However, this recording remains the intellectual property of The UK Flooring Podcast.
You are prohibited from downloading, sharing, or circulating the recording without obtaining express written permission from The UK Flooring Podcast.

Podcast Editing and Final Approval

All podcast recordings are subject to review and editing by both The UK Flooring Podcast and the podcast guest.
The UK Flooring Podcast reserves the right to remove any content deemed unfit prior to the release of the podcast.
The podcast guest will be provided with an opportunity to review the edited recording and suggest changes or edits prior to the final release.
The podcast recording is not considered final until it has been authorised for circulation by both The UK Flooring Podcast and the podcast guest.

Broadcast and Distribution

If you wish for The UK Flooring Podcast to broadcast your recording on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, The UK Flooring Podcast, or any other distribution channels, a fee of £300 plus VAT is applicable.
Once the fee is paid, you will receive a release date, and your recording will be distributed on the agreed platforms.
In addition, should The UK Flooring Podcast deem your recording to be of significant interest or value, you provide us with express permission to broadcast the podcast on your behalf in lieu of the £300 payment.

Payment Terms

The £300 fee plus VAT must be paid before any files are released for broadcasting. Payment details will be provided in the booking confirmation or upon request.
Non-payment will result in the retention of the recording by The UK Flooring Podcast until the outstanding balance is settled.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

The UK Flooring Podcast retains all copyrights and intellectual property rights to the recordings made during The Flooring Show 2025.
Any use of the recordings outside of personal listening must be authorised by The UK Flooring Podcast, including any modifications, edits, or public sharing.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your recording session, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled time by contacting us via email or phone.
The UK Flooring Podcast reserves the right to reschedule or cancel recording sessions in case of unforeseen circumstances. In such events, participants will be notified as soon as possible.

Limitation of Liability

The UK Flooring Podcast and its organizers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the recording, distribution, or broadcast of the podcast.
Participation in the recording session is voluntary, and you assume all risks associated with the recording and subsequent use of the content.

Privacy and Data Protection

Any personal data collected during the booking process or recording session will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your participation in the podcast indicates your consent to the recording and use of your voice and likeness for the purposes outlined in these terms and conditions.
